Well not really, but sure sounds like it. This past weekend me and a buddy did a major reconstruction job on my old stereo system. Bose-Blose!!! End of discussion :) Took us 24 hours with 3 days of work. But we got it in. And lemme tell you it's in motha ^$%#$@%@ incredible!!! Installed:
Clarion RDX 665dz CD plaer
MB Quart 6.5" Q series components (front)
MB Quart RKC 6.5" coaxils with an external cross-over (rear)
JL Audio 10W6 in stealthbox
US Acoustics 4085 Amplifier - 85x4 RMS powering front and rear MB Quarts.
US Acoustics 2100 - 375x1 RMS @ 3 ohms powering sub.
1.5 farad digital capacitator - coolest thing EVER!!! You can see it actually spike when it hits lows!!! I did buy 13 sq ft of premium dynamat as well, but we ran out of time and will install that again sometime in the future. Installed 2100, cap, 2 disto. blocks behind passenger seat, and 4085 behind drivers seat. Ran 4 awg wire to battery throught fender well (VERY EASY!!). Lemme tell you this Z now sounds incredible!!!! The 10W6 pounds like crazy! I got it set @ -4 bass setting and still hurts my ears. I like it!!! The MB Quarts are also incredible! Took 3 rolls of film doing the complete install so will post pics soon!
